We here at The Works IT are pretty keen on alternative energy sources, mainly because we think it’s just morally and ethically ‘the right thing to do’ to take care of our mother earth. Plus they’re pretty interesting. You could call us ‘green’…as the kids are saying these days.
So I was pretty pleased to see this little gem from Mosaic showing just how much other countries are turning to renewable resources. We’d love to slap some solar panels on our roof but I don’t think our landlord would dig it. However, to make up for the lack of solar power, we do donate to Duke Energy’s GoGreen program so that roughly a third of all of our energy used at the shop comes from alternative energy sources. It’s not much, but it’s what we can afford for now.
