We’ve been talking about Web browsers and some of their technical features a lot lately so I thought I’d take a break and touch on the more obvious visual differences you’ll see on pages loaded in the browsers. To do this, I made a page (linked below) showcasing one web page loaded in 6 different browsers so that you can see the inconsistencies between them.

Now, you’re not going to see loads of these differences throughout the Interwebz, but you will run into it at some time, I’m sure of it. The reason you won’t see a lot of this is because most Web designer/developers, that are any good, can use their expertise to develop the page/site to look as similar as possible between all the major browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera).

Exploring Browser Differences

This is simply a rough example to show you that inconsistencies do exist and they can be quite obvious, especially in older browsers. So make sure to update often!!
